What Do You Know About Credit Card Processing?

According to The Boston Federal Reserve, 75.7 percent of consumers own a major credit card such as Visa and MasterCard. With the number of cardholders at an incline, many users are unaware of the credit card processing system.
Credit card processing includes entrusting a third party merchant to process a payment in exchange for goods or labor. Transaction information is moved to the cardholder’s bank company, where the purchase is then approved or declined.
Many merchants use credit cards as form of payment which require a interchange fee. The interchange fee is fixated at a percentage for the cardholder’s credit card company to pay, which is then charged to the cardholder through a transaction fee.
With the interchange system involving rates, pricing, and credit card sales, card users fall victim to high interest fees and ultimately poor credit lapse. Companies like BetterFunds however, focus on refining the credit card processing system by providing easy-to-use card portals and rates.

Final: News Lead- Centerville City Counsel

City counsels met at Centerville City Counsel chambers on Tuesday at 7 p.m. to consider the reduction of  two patrolmen per squad car to one per squad car.

“We’re concerned about the safety of our community…I can guarantee you if there are fewer cops on the street, you’re going to see the results-more crime, more problems,” said local resident, Sandra Williams.

Police Chief Wilford Brimley said that the move was made due to budget cuts of $1.5 million dollars which was planned by the police department . The change in police patrols will mean that the department can reduce the force.

“This group is doing nothing but making a difficult decision even more difficult, said mayor Robert Shinn.

The counsel voted unanimously to approve the police department plan while many in the audience rejected the outcome.

He helped create the  First Ladies of Bloomfield College organization, which similar to GQ, focuses on mentoring and empowering Bloomfield College students. Lambert is also a member of the Bloomfield College Fraternity Phi Beta Sigma Inc.

Bloomfield College extended Lambert’s first full-time job offer upon graduating. Lambert accepted, and became an admissions counselor at the College, a job he would continue for two years before venturing to California to make his mark in the music industry.

Lambert flew to his home state of New Jersey this past summer to speak to the incoming freshman class at their orientation. During his hour-long speech, he provided students with advice, from finding the right resources on campus to tips on the best local food and barber shops in the Bloomfield area.

Bloomfield College is a family,” said Lambert, to 500 new Bloomfield College Bears. “The people here care about you and want to see you graduate and do well.”

To say Lambert himself has “done well” is an understatement.

In 2010, he began his writing career working alongside Grammy Award winning producer Eric Hudson on actor/singer  Jamie Foxx’s album “Best Night of My Life“Lambert co-wrote “Sleeping Pill” and “All Said And Done” on Foxx’s album.

Lambert continued his songwriting success when he co-wrote the single “25/8” for R&B superstar Mary J. Blige, which appeared on her album “My Life II…The Journey Continues (Act 1).”

In 2012, Lambert began working with English Grammy Award winning producer Harmony Samuels. He co-wrote the single “Think Like a Man.” The song was performed by Jennifer Hudson, featuring Ne-Yo and Rick Ross, for the movie “Act Like a Lady, Think Liek a Man.”

That same year, Lambert began working on R&B singer Fantasia’s fourth studio album, “Side Effects of You.” Lambert wrote/co-wrote many songs on the project, including the single “Without Me” featuring Kelly Rowland and Missy Elliott.

In 2013, Lambert was nominated for three Grammy Awards for his work on Fantasia’s album.

Moreover, that year, Lambert wrote on the debut single “The Way” for actress/singer Ariana Grande featuring Mac Miller. The record was a huge success, and entered at number 10 on the Billboard Hot 100 Chart. It was officially certified Platinum by the RIAA on June 19, 2013, and has currently sold over two million copies in the United States.

Lambert’s additional writing credits include “Say Yes” by former Destiny’s Child singer, Michelle Williams. The song featured Beyoncé and Kelly Rowland and reached number one on Billboard’s Hot Gospel 100 chart.

Given Lambert’s passion for and success in the music business, he was excited to see the new Center of Creativity + Technology on campus. This building will no doubt benefit students studying music technology at the College. Music technology majors will obtain a solid understanding of music theory and production, and have the opportunity to work with state-of-the-art equipment and software.

Dreams come true,” promised Lambert to the crowd. “And they can be birthed right here at Bloomfield College.”

Making America “GREAT” Again

election

New Jersey – Donald Trump’s election for the upcoming presidential position for 2017 has aroused much controversy. Speculated results are explored by many citizens and non-citizens, which they have spoken out on behalf of poll’s unsatisfactory outcome.
Many citizens and non-citizens will be effected by Trumps success in winning the 2016 presidency as abortion, financial aid, gay marriages, immigration issues, and many other factors of America’s rights and privileges may be effected. Trump’s election raises big question for ObamCare, immigration, and Supreme Court, which has provoked riots and other negative expression from across the county.

Muslim in Trump’s America

Hillary Clinton’s loss in the presidential election is blamed by Muslim people in the country that refused to vote.

“This would be the easiest election to take Muslims for granted,” said Mohammad Mubarak, a lawyer.

Donald Trump’s presidency may have frightened many Muslim Americans due to their religious beliefs however, few Muslims have made a stand in redefining their beliefs and voting for the past election. Other Muslims opted out of the presidential election just because they felt they would be receiving the short end of the stick either way.

“I don’t think Hillary Clinton has the ability to keep our country safe,” said Farooq Mitha.

Southern States

Smapouthern states in the country is expected to have helped Trump’s ability in winning the presidential election. Southern states still possess racism which fits Trump’s characteristics and mirrors the beliefs and desires that trump plans for the country.

Additional reasoning towards Clinton’s loss is targeted towards other people who did not believe in voting for the presidential election. Before the election results, Trump and Clinton have been targeted in the media with negative rumors and accusations. Suspicions activity from both parties has effected both candidates reputation from the eye of the media. As voters back away from the polls, trump’s financial status has won over the debate. As Trumps financial income buys his voters, his money influences racism, sexism, and dishonesty which many other followers support.
